The detail
A satin-wrapped rod and two matching scrunchies. Dampen hair, wrap, sleep, unwrap. You get soft, bouncy curls that hold their shape, without the split ends that come with a wand.
The ritual
On 80% dry hair, wrap sections around the rod from the ends upwards, secure with the scrunchies and leave overnight or for at least four hours. Unwrap from the bottom up and shake out.
The chemistry
Satin-wrapped foam core, satin scrunchies. Machine washable at 30 degrees in a laundry bag.
